The Norton Manx 500 is one of the most significant racing motorcycles of the 20th century. Its name is inextricably linked to the Isle of Man TT, where it made racing history with numerous victories. With its revolutionary technical design, impressive reliability and unmistakable racing character, the Manx 500 is now one of the most sought-after collector's items worldwide.

The Norton Manx, built from 1947 to 1962, is a real evergreen. The top model is the Manx 500 short stroke with 6-speed Shaftleitner gearbox.

This Manx 500 comes from Finland and was used throughout Europe by a private racing team. After a complete overhaul and optimisation, the motorcycle was sold around 1995 to an Austrian dentist, who occasionally rode it in the toughest championship for vintage motorcycles.

But the Manx also cut a fine figure at the Fischereihafen race in May 2013 and at the Red Bull Ring at the 10th international Rupert Hollaus Memorial Race in 2013.

In June 2017, the Norton Manx was also at the start of the ‘70 Years of Giacomo Agostini’ birthday race at the Sachsenring and in July 2017 at the Solitude Revival.
In November 2017, the Manx made its last appearance at the Bike Show Bad Salzufern.

It is in immaculate condition and is ideal for classic racing events, historical presentations or as a valuable showpiece in a high-quality collection.

The Norton Manx 500 offered here is not road legal!
